Age-normalized 7-day cumulative ‘SARS-CoV-2/ COVID-19’ cases in Luxembourg.
data updated: 15.01.2021
Data: The age-group specific data for SARS-CoV-2/ COVID-19 cases in Luxembourg for the period of 15 March 2020 – 4 January 2021 was collected from ECDC as available on 15.12.2020.
Calculations: Since the per day numbers are ‘small’, we calculated the 7-day cumulative cases, and to compare between the different age-groups, normalization was done as per thousand resident population in the same age group (resident population source: STATEC as of 01.01.2020)
Observation: The chart below shows the increase or decrease of the number of 7-day cumulative cases across time and different age-groups of the Luxembourg resident population.
Limitations: The chart below is 7-day cumulative and should be considered with caution while drawing any conclusion.
The chart can be zoomed across x-axis and clicking on the legend would activate or deactivate individual groups for better visualization.
